by david rolfes on 8/24/2008 7:34am what year did randy newman write this song? i am sure that it is from very recent but, it has that "1967-1968" sound. i must say that this is a good song to enjoy.
by sheilah strickland on 1/3/2009 6:12pm for david rolfes--this song was on the 1974 randy newman album "Good Old Boys"--contributing artists on this album included glenn frey & don henley--it's been remastered & can be found on a remastered reissue 2 cd set which includes "Good Old Boys" & a previously unreleased cd titled "Johnny Cutlers Birthday"--the "Naked Man" song was also used on an episode of the tv show "Monk"--hope this helps-I really like Randy Newman!
