Paper Cuts Lyrics
Artist: Nirvana
Album: Bleach
When I'm feeling tired
She pushes food through the door
I crawl towards the cracks of light
Sometimes I can't find my way
Newspapers spread around)
Soaking all that they can
A cleaning is due again
A good hosing down
The lady whom I feel maternal love for
Cannot look me in the eyes
But I see hers and they are blue
And they cock and twist and masturbate
I said so
Nirvana
Black windows of paint
I scratch with my nails
I see others just like me
Why do they not try to escape?
They bring out the older ones
They point at my way
They come with the flashing lights
And take my family away
And very later I have learned to
Accept some friends of ridicule
My whole existence is for your amusement
And that is why I'm here with you!
Ow...to take you with me...
Your right

just awesome
songs need a correction i Said so x 3
Hey guys. Nirvana rules.
nirvana is the FUCKING best
i think this song has alot of meaning, it seems to me that its kinda has something to do with kurt and rehab.
this fucking rocks.. it's awesome they actually have a song that says Nirvana on it... this is the second Bleach song i listen so far and i gotta say it's fucking good!!!, breaks with the Nevermind, In Utero style, in a good way... :D
One of my favorite Nirvana songs and awesome lyrics.
personally, i think that kurt cobain is pretty damn high up there on the list of best song writers/singers/artists ever. alongside him of course are artists like bob marley, phil lynott, jimi henrix, bradley nowell, john lennon and paul mccartney. hell, i could compare kurt to louis armstrong or sarah vaughn. his death marked the end of true grunge, but what he gave us was magic. just like bob marley said “My music will go on forever. Maybe it’s a fool say that, but when me know facts me can say facts. My music will go on forever.”
This is awesome song and it has very deep meaning!
nice song
this is exactly how i feel. i love this song. the words are so obscure and out there but if you read between the lines theres actually some deep meaning there.
no its about when he was a kid his friends parents would lock him in his room for no reason
wrrrrr you're way off. i dont want to even try cause theres no point. not because they're confusion but because theres just no point. he wasnt even famous when they made bleach.
i think its about dogs.
it's about the person finding "nirvana" but really he's just in a mental institution.i work in one,the patients sing nirvana songs all the time go figure
This song is about a family that kept their kids locked up in a room.
Based on a true story about some woman who locked her kids in the attic. Just like the book Flowers in the Attic.
It's about a true story in Aberdeen that a family locked their childrens in a room without any windows because the parents thought that the outside world was bad.
just like joe i agree this song is based on atrue history and a family kurt actualy meet
I just read in Everett True's Nirvana biography that this song is about a family in Aberdeen that locked their kids in the attic only appearing to feed them. The mother/father or both (not sure) put newspaper all over the floor and that was their toilet. Pretty sick shit, but an amazing song nonetheless.
whocares?, your a fuckin homo!
WHAT? None of you know - this is a true story about someone who kept their children as slaves in the BASEMENT!! Its not about him, besides he wasn't even IN Rehab at the time this was written. Anyway - really deep song, amazing lyrics.
I really think this song is just about a puppy who gets locked away everyday? and is alone in its cage........
the blue eye thing is about his mother
In 1989 Kurt Cobain was not yet famous, Bleach is his first album. Think people!
