by Jen on 12/15/2009 12:23pm For me, this song is different. I come to this song when I stumble and fall off the narrow road. This song speaks to me about the struggle between my relationship with God and my new self in him and my old self and its desires and behaviors. I am in constant struggle, but I take each stumble as a reminder that even though I've accept Jesus as my savior and embarked on a journey with God, "I'm still a (wo)man in need of a savior". Despite my desire to be in the light, I am still human and need some help... a lot of help actually.
by Whitney on 12/21/2009 12:27pm I love this song. I fist heard it at my youth group it really hit me straight in the heart. It helps me stay firm in my steps and folow Christ no matter what. The first verse really opened my eyes and the chorus that followed...it showed that though I follow Christ as best as I can, I still am in the shadows and its harder to turn away from excuses and follow christs love. He only can heal my sickness of sin.
