Don't try to separate Cat Stevens from Yusuf Islam, and say you love one but dislike the other. He is not a hypocrite, so it is ugly to respond with hypocrisy. He did not sell out and be the person others wanted him to be; he preferred to love God over world. You can tell from his songs and lyrics that he was a good man, searching. Now it is obvious that he found his way home, and is an even better man.
