I always thought it was "acts" as in acts of a play or acting. The song is a sarcastic take about a relationship with the narrator who is unwillingly manipulative or emotionally retarded but feels they cant do anything but let the other down because it is in their nature. I dont know angst would really work? in the rest of the track the character doesnt really feel angsty... although that doesnt mean it isnt angst...I like it better as acts

Not only did I think it was "I give all my eggs to you" but I also thought it was "you drank my cocktails, you drank my cocktails down". Clearly I am quite food and drink motivated.
