by RSY on 7/9/2009 11:28am At first listen I just took it as a rockin’ song to start off the album, which it is, but after some thought, it’s much more than that. In my opinion, it was Ween’s intention for us to start getting high in whatever way possible the moment we pop this album in. THEY are saying to US, “start getting high/you are in for a treat/it’s gonna be a long night”. In the lyrics “You bring the razor blade, I’ll bring the speed” Even THEY are making the preparations to get fucked up. I feel like I’m at an art show reading into a painting and saying how this canvas represents something important of what the artist was trying to convey. I could be totally wrong though
