I LUV WARRANT!!! I wanted 2 cry when I heard Jani died. :(.. This was the 1st metal song my dad learned how 2 play on guitar. Now he teaches me how 2 play songs like these.
Jani had a great voice. I didn't notice so much in Warrant's hay day but looking over my shoulder I do. I used to be a singer and love his stuff more now that he's gone. I met him one time at "Pinky's" in Vegas and he looked like he was bored and tired of the game. Even though I love Grunge, it's too bad what it did to good bands like Warrant, Skid Row, Loverboy, White Snake, etc. Just squashed 'em.
@MarkyMark. Ikr! Jani's voice was amazing! I'm honestly not a fan of grunge because it killed the 80s metal style n the 90s, but it (80s metal) is makin a comeback thanx to games like guitar hero & movies like rock of ages! Most of the guys n my school love music like this; I just wish that there were more girls like me who listen to this.
I was lucky enough to see Warrant live in St. Petersburg, Fla, in '89 and they rocked hard. Great concert and a great song. Miss you Jani. RIP...
