this song is cool
I have always thought this second hit In The Navy for the Village People was much better than the over-rated YMCA. One striking thing I like about this song, well apart from the music bed thta is, is the pronunciation of the lead singer's words. For example, in line 1 'science technology' and 'people' and 'protecting'. Although these are great lyrics composed in the 1970s, the singer's pronunciations of these words truly compliment the excellent backing music very well!

I was in Boot camp at NTTC San Diego 1979 when this song came out we played lot when we had cleaning day or field day that’s what they call it in the Navy! Brings so much memories, 😂😊
