by Joe on 12/17/2008 2:05pm Yeah, an MCI is an early multi-track recorder which you can record home demos on, hence "make records on my own" ... In fact there's a clip on Youtube of Jools Holland interviewing Sting during the recording of 'Ghost in the Machine' and he demonstrates how he recorded the demo of 'Message in a Bottle' on it, good stuff :)
