by simone on 6/4/2008 8:58pm My favorite Everly Brothers song is Take a message to Mary.It ROCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It is sad yet powerful,why don't people listen to oldies,they might find some good songs instead of the junk they listen to these days.I always sing that wonderful song in my head over, sometimes I can't concentrate on what's going on.I really hope I will be able to download it to my (soon-to-be)ipod which I would play over and over until I get tired of it (which will never happen).I am going to try and write down all the Lryics so I would know the songs be heart,down to everly little puntucation mark.(Yep.)

Some of the best music in history came from this era (granted most of it is quite sad and depressing but I love that kind of music. It makes me feel happy inside that I am so lucky to have a wife that I love and who loves me back) People should ALWAYS listen to the oldies

I now sing it to my little baby and it gets him off to sleep every time. I wanted to check out the lyrics as I could only remember the first verse - now I can sing the whole song.

I was playing the music but never knew what's all about,now i've known,my bones has gone weak. I'm so down, feeling for Mary the poor bride.
