It's sad that this genre of music became considered out of style by the radio stations and their listeners. Many of the artists in this genre deserve at least as much acclaim as do the best of performers in other genre's of music. I wonder also if I'm the only one who believes that The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should have been instead named something like The Music Hall of Fame to include all genres of music icluding Doo Wop, Jazz, Country, Zydeco, Cajun etc.
