awesome song! they totally ruined it in Across the Universe though. it might be good but you can never ever beat the original.

i disagree. i like the version in across the universe. obviously its not as good as the original, but i still like it.

i think i likeboth versions equally. but there were a few other songs in the movie i feel they did ruin. most songs by the beatles just cant be re-done and match the quality.

obviously the beatles songs are going to be "better" because its their songs. most of the songs in the movie obviously sounded nothing like the beatles.. but i liked how in across the universe they used the beatles songs to fit perfectly into the movie. which is really hard, I'd imagine. and i think the over all movie was very good.

the beatles will be in our hearts forever,don�t dude about that.I was WANDERING if any band could be better than they, the answer is IMPOSIBLE, no one can�t create lyrics as they did so beatles song�s will never die. one of the most amazing song about love was in your imagination, (lucy in the sky with diamonds) just fky away from here with that sound.

The songs in Across the Universe were not meant to be an exact carbon copy of the original beatles song. Don't get me wrong the beatles will always have the classic version, but the songs in Across the Universe were meant to be a new interpretation of the songs.

across the universe was way better than the originals, not even how they sounded but better technolgoy and recording equpiment were also used . I love the beatles, however across the universe was done amazing and the songs were in fact better, in my own personal opinion!

I love Across the Universe the movie and song! This is such a good song. I've never heard the original. I'm headed to it though!

they did do an amazing job in across the universe. i like how they made the songs more upbeat and better recorded, of course, if the beatles had they more up to date technology, thered be a better battle about they're verison and across the universe's verison. but i absolutely loved across the universe. its an amazing movie, i didnt get the part when they where kissing in the water though. and when those people with the masks where dancing then fell into the water. besides that, the movie made sence the second time around. i love how perfect the songs compliment eachother.they served the songs with the respect they deserve. and the movie opened many young kids eyes to how influential the beatles really were on the world. i adore both verisons.

I dont think they were trying to "beat" the originals. It was just a movie and it had to be different in its own way. Each version has its pros.

i love across the universe and i think that some of the songs are a lot better because they tried to make them more up beat because some of them were more down and dreary HOWEVER that time period was very dreary because of the war....butt still i love the Beatles and this movie.

WTF are you saying??? that autotuned version of it won't be long can't never beat the beatles version... WTF is wrong with you?? better start to listen more music little kids...when you listen enough good music, you just then start to realize how unbeatable are the beatles in every aspect of pop music..
