by Kurt on 12/2/2008 9:44am I never understood this song when I first heard it when I was in college. It felt positive, but the lyrics sounded kind of cynical. I'm 47 now and it makes a lot more sense to me. The dreams you had when you were younger don't always come true, but you can still stand up on a beautiful morning and feel the same optimism you felt as a kid, and now you've got wisdom to go with it. You're not bound by your past, you can go forward if you are willing to seize the day and the opportunities.
