A "Fez" is one of those round raised hats with a flat top that Middle Eastern men wear, kinda looks like one of those "Shriner" hats. Once you see a photo of the Fez and read the lyrics you're gonna crack up laughing!!

Well of course a fez is a hat, but the joke in this song is that it IS an alias for condom. B (or was it F?) confirmed this in an interview way back when. Where do you put a fez? On your head, of course. Hilarious!

My first-grade son asked me about, "These fez hats." After laughing like an idiot for 10 minutes I finally showed him a photo of the Middle Eastern hat. I'll let him in on this song several years down the road from now.
