My own daughter has been raised in a similar way. On a long car journey when she was 8 we were listening to the Dan and during "King of the World" she picked up her kazoo and played the solo note perfect.
It was a proud moment as a father.

More parents should get their kids to listen to the real music before TV takes them over. If you do it soon enough, and stress, they'll appreciate good music, and not a good product.

I was 14 when my cousin turned me on to Steely Dan... it was an 8 track of Katy Lied. Katy Lied is still my favorite SD album. At concerts they rarely play cuts from that album. Must have some bad memories of making Katy Lied.

My daughter Mia heard so many times Pretzel Logic that became fan of the band at the edge of 6! While i drive we always sing the hole record and our favourites tunes are Night By Night,Parker�s band and Through with Buzz. Is very good to know that there are children who enjoy with this great band. Regards!

When I have kid's, they are listening to Steely Dan. My parents never did so I had to find good music for myself. My kids aren't going through that, hell of a no!
