by Jeremy on 1/12/2009 2:19pm Rakim is the God of MC's..but you can see where he got his influences. Both Run D.M.C. & dudes like Kool Moe Dee, were beginning to use internal rhymes back in the day. You can really here them here. This was one of the first Run D.M.C. songs I ever heard (first heard this back in '86 I believe). Love the old school..they were more skilled back then, then the "modern" rappers of today!
