And his faith in God is slipping away(Forgive me for I don't know what I gain Alone in this garden of pain). He wants God to take away his pain, he thinks he cannot do anything about it himself. The song basically says: I already prayed three times, mylord, why isn't my pain gone. I don't know what I gain in still believing in You. Don't give me another story about Jesus, give me the Angel, give me change.

Why try to interpret the uninterpretaable? If Tuomas wanted us the know the meanings , he would have written about it. Every song ever written can be interpretted in so many different ways to suit indviduals.. So be it.. Tuomas, honey, never lose the faith. S.B

So this story is about Jesus being more human than described in the religious texts. And the song is SO well composed. It's just perfect!

Supposedly where the Apostles buried Virgin Mary. I believe it is not so much beautiful as it is tragic. His sacrifice & devotion.
