by DAS Mustafah on 4/11/2012 10:50pm The entire song is about the original Star Wars trilogy, focusing on and possibly from the point of view of Darth Vader, and his relationship with Luke. "The Wrist" is a reference to Vader cutting off Luke's hand, and Greedo's death refers to the cantina scene in Empire where he was shot by Han Solo. "Overthrown by your children" refers to Luke and Leia, Vader's children, working to overthrow Vader. "Amass a fortress of steel" refers to the Death Star. "Caving In Black 'til There's No Bringing It Back Again/Led Astray By Their Mock Sincerity" refers to Vader's seduction and conversion to the Dark Side. The final message of the song is Vader's realization that joining the Empire was the wrong path and his regret over his choice.
