by The Dru on 7/18/2008 10:33am Heavy Metal is like beer. It can be an acquired taste for some people. I've always liked some heavy music and enjoyed Manson since his breakthrough Smells Like Children album, but a friend of mine listens to alot of heavier bands like Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon etc. and I guess it gradually rubbed off on me. If you listen to Manson but not any other metal music try Queens of the Stoneage...you won't be disappointed. Their shit is heavy with a good beat like MM but less sinister and industrial.
