My friends Laugh At Me And Call Me A Freak for listening to marilyn manson as i am not into any other kind of heavy metal music atall i prefer dance but i think he is great such a legend went to see him in concert wow hes amazin!
Heavy Metal is like beer. It can be an acquired taste for some people. I've always liked some heavy music and enjoyed Manson since his breakthrough Smells Like Children album, but a friend of mine listens to alot of heavier bands like Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon etc. and I guess it gradually rubbed off on me. If you listen to Manson but not any other metal music try Queens of the Stoneage...you won't be disappointed. Their shit is heavy with a good beat like MM but less sinister and industrial.
