Thank you for posting these lyrics Kent. Unfortunatly, i am not from Wyoming but have visited and the moment I arrived I felt at home. The Tetons, cool air, and wilderness welcomed me with open arms. Thank you John Denver for this beautiful song and reminder of the most besutiful place in America!

I am a born and raised California girl, but have traveled through out North America. This song has always touched me, and like the changing sunset, it means different things to me in different times. I am soon going to be taking off on another long trip, mostly by train. So this song will be in my heart for all those lonely sacred places we all need to visit sometimes.
