by Ned Huthmacher on 9/21/2010 2:56pm Marlon Brando's character talks about that little bird in the 1959 film THE FUGITIVE KIND, basede on the Tennesee Williams play ORPHEUS DESCENDING. The first time I heard that song was in 1965 when MaArianne Faithfull sang it so beautifully.
