I love this song even though im 17 almost 18 yrs old, first time i heard this song it was back when i was 12 so not that long ago, it touched my heart and i cryed cause i knew what this song ment. and i felt so emotional with his voice when he sings this song.. i give this great song 100%

In the late seventies I was a scool boy and we heard this song every saturday night at the disco. Katrin was my favourite girl but I was too cravenly to ask her for a dance to this song. Today we both are married, happy and staying in the middle of our lifes, but not together. Sometimes I hear this song and remembering Katrin. She have for ever an secret place in my heart.

named our 1st daughter after this song, one of the best songs ever and certainly one of the best singers ever to record, saw him a couple of times in southend UK, the last time he performed before he retired, was hoping and looking that he would make one last comeback somewhere in the world as we would certainly have been there with him ( fantastic performer ) alas this will now never happen RIP.

A very much darker, but very impressive version by Sisters of Mercy.
Have only just heard the Hot Chocolate version but do prefer the sisters of mercy version (sorry erroll). Do dark, moving and really feel deep for the guy.
