This song touches me every time I hear it. Sadly, Rafferty didn't get much attention in the U.S. except for Baker Street (though that's another classic). He had a beautiful voice and a true gift for songwriting.

this song sends me right back to my childhood. wearing cut off levi's, and high top chucks, and if you dont know what chucks are, then you weren't there in that time, riding my schwinn bike all summer long in the neighborhood, or down trails my friends and i made in the woods to unknown destinations.
