Cassie Lyrics

Artist: Flyleaf
Album: Flyleaf

I will say yes

The question asked in order
To save her life or take it
The answer no to avoid death
The answer yes would make it
Make it

Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
Say yes to pull the trigger
Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
And Cassie pulled the trigger

All heads are bowed in silence
To remember her last sentence
She answered him knowing what would happen
Her last words still hanging in the air
In the air

Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
Say yes to pull the trigger
Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
And Cassie pulled the trigger

Say yes and pull the trigger

How many will die
I will die
I, I will say yes

And cassie pulled the trigger
Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
And Rachel pulled the trigger

Do you believe in God
Written on the bullet
And Cassie pulled the trigger
Do you believe in God
And I will pull the trigger

rachel was also in the library when cassie got shot she was asked if she believed in god and she answered yes so they shot her in the stomach then they asked her do u still belive in god and she answered yes and they shot her in the head.cassie was also shot before or after rachel but they only asked her once and she said yes and they shot her in the head.

These lyrics are so beautiful, I wish they hadn't gone through that. I would've done the same though.

this song is not saying anything about suicide. during this school shooting, the kids with the gun asked them if they believed in God, they responded "yes" so they were shot for their beliefs
by Maegan on 1/28/2010 12:58am
I LOVE this song. And FYI, there's two versions of this song, the ep and the reg that was widely released. In one of the versions, it DOES say, "and Rachel pulled the trigger" (to Kirsten). And again, to Rachel, this song is not about suicide. Listen to it again.
