This song has nothing to do with making fun of Christianity. It's about skinheads - the gang that went for alcohol - and blacks - the gang that went for basketball - having their differences but the church bells kept ringing despite the differences.

No this song isn't about skinheads, where does that even come from? Skinheads are neo nazi fascists, I don't even know what lyric brings them in. I doubt they would refer to themselves as skinheads as implied by "My gang went their way for alcohol".

This song is great, it's not making fun of Christianity, interpret it however you want, if you're offended by it because you're religious, you shouldn't be listening to punk rock anyways because if you don't believe in free speech, you don't believe in punk rock.
