this is on of my fav bowie tracks along with ashes to ashes. Bowies a real classic individual and probably one of the most taleneted singers of all time.

this is an awesome song
i'm a great bowie fan and i think this is one of his finest moments
i've heard a cover franz ferdinand did and it was pretty amazing too
alex kapranos voice suits this song perfectly
i dare not say it's better than the original but it's pretty close

i love these lyrics. i especially love the sea and cake's version of this. if you haven't heard it yet, go check it out. i personally like it better than matthew dear's or bowie's, although all are pretty amazing

When I was a teenager living at home and hating my parents I would lock myself in my room and thrash this album. It's what kept me sane. Now I'm 49 and when my kids are pissing me off I lock myself in my room and thrash this album. It stills works

Beck's cover is better, better than matthew dear's. I'm not comparing it with the original, but Beck's cover is damn good.

its good and ive liked this track for years but Bowie aint anywhere near the best. I`ve prob heard almost everything he`s done and from early 80`s he`s been commercial pop.He`s released some howlers - Lets dance for example, of the time but just a Peter Andre type song of its day.
