I agree with Real Rocker. Some people don't get the depth of lyrics. Just let them blather on and sound like the simpletons that they are. Some people know what lyrics mean and others don't. I mean how many people think "Every Breath You Take" is a romantic song? LOL

The song is about a car. A black, metallic car to be exact. Rob Dickinson (CW's singer) has even said as much in interviews.

The verses don't make a lot of sense if it's purely about a car. I think it's using a car as a metaphor on the surface but is about a woman who's beautiful on the surface but cold underneath. Being in love with a woman who is either not in love with you or is cold and closed off in some way. Just my opinion of course.

lead singer owns a aftermarket Porsche company called Singer and Yes it is about a car a 911 Turbo to be exact ... it's a guy thing but the song is dedicated to the woman that never leaves without you ( car)

err song's lyrics works both ways, best songs do.

kiddies growing up during 80's/90's knew the sensuality of skin of different 'colors' (same as old dogs lusting after car paints) skin only tells you so much about a person/car, and is more likely a reflection of your own self. "i still can't guess what you're after"
