First line should start "Lift me" (not "Left me"). 2nd to last line - "turnaround" is one word - it is a music/blues term.

I Aboslutly Love This Song, Carole has such an amazing voice and great talent. I partially agredd with Melissa, i think that Yeardly Smith (lisa's voice among others) did a great job covering it and held her own or so to say, no one will ever top Carole Original Version.

Hi, Cathy. "Georgia slide" means Georgia-style slide guitar. When I think slide I think blues music, so maybe that's why it's just "a touch" the jazz band's playing.

Well, at least Cathy, David and Kari have it right. Brilliant piece of music that should not be evaluated on spelling, words or 'other' voices. Are you kidding ? You cannot get more perfect than this.
