by I Like That One... on 4/29/2009 11:43pm This song's meaning is pretty obvious, it's about a young couple who are just coming out of their "crazy" days and the girl is ready to settle down before the guy is. "The war" is either means literally a war because he's a veteran or it could mean the crazy twenties life with nothing tying him down etc. Regardless of what they were trying to say, it's still a great song!
